Happy Birthday -
EREPs Birthday Across Europe
EREPS has now finished its first year and has members across 20 different European countries. The theory and systems that were first put into place have all worked well and as the year has passed, more and more information is being translated into different European languages. The EREPS Website has recently been updated and most information is now available in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
The EREPS liability insurance scheme – providing €5,000,000 of insurance cover - has been renewed with Lloyd’s of London and this provides excellent cover for exercise professionals at a very competitive premium of just €79.50. Full details are on the EREPS Website.
We are watching the increase in the number of searches being made on the members directory – this is where consumers and employers are checking the registration status of trainers. A majority of EREPS members have taken the option of an advanced search – this is where you can add your contact details and a personal statement. The more the directory is used, the more EREPS moves up the search engines, and the more promotion our members get. Already over 50 people a day are checking the directory – to find EREPS members!
Next Edition
will be the First Journal
The next newsletter will be our first electronic JOURNAL that will have news, reviews and feature articles that will include media links. It will also include a round-up of what is happening in the fitness industry across Europe – and especially those issues that affect exercise professionals. The first edition of this exciting new concept will be ready in November.
